[LET'S BUILD] D100 Modern(ish)/Superhero Cities
Unlike my previous post, this post will be for original cities rather than renamed ones. These can be more fantastical than the real world, too, operated on superhero comic rules. Some people are born with superpowers. Magic and supernatural creatures are real, albeit kept secret from the mundane world. Aliens occasionally invade, advanced technology can be found in many mad scientist labs, but the world as a whole is still recognizable as our own.
Platinum City - A sparkling American east coast city, it's skyline covered in glass skyscrapers with monorails arcing between important buildings, this is one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world. It was always home to the prestigious Argent University of Science, but the city truly grew after a normally horrible accident. Research into the metahuman gene in the late 70s went wrong and polluted the soil and water in the area. Nearly 1 in 4 people born in the city are born with the metahuman gene. People flocked here hoping to give their future generations a better life. By the 90s, many tweens began manifesting powers and the city practically became a warzone. It was here that the concept of superheroes and supervillains became widespread. Those who didn't go mad with power found themselves using their powers to improve the city in the 2000s, leading it to the grand state it's in now.
St. Vladimir - This Minnesotan city and the surrounding suburbs are more important to the world than most realize. While the mundane world knows of the powerful Russian mafia which seems to control the area, few know that these mafiosos are monster hunters. The city is silently in a feud between the hunters, vampires, and the black magic practitioners who flock to the city. Wendigos and ghouls lurk through the alleyways while vampires control many large businesses. The only reason the monsters remain is because of the structure that has formed, allowing most to obtain the necessary blood, flesh, and (in the warlocks' case) ritual components required for them to stave off death/starvation/their demonic masters.
The Burg - a floating city composed of powerless folks trying to get away from the metahumans, the people there call it the last bastion of humanity if the "superfreaks" ever decide to destroy everything. This city floats around near the Arctic circle and is mostly a lashed together boat city. (u/seriousd6)
Hana - well hidden desert city where the residents (powered and not) all live in harmony under a caring leader who is committed to stop the research into metahuman genetics, and believes that researchers in this field are performing harmful experiments on the people to further their ends. (u/seriousd6)
The Cap - an extremely mechanical city (think steampunk) where a niche metahuman group has decided to band together, this has become a haven for all those with heat-related powers. The price for living is to help run the boilers that power the city, the reward is community and safety in numbers. (Bonus points if it is on or near a volcano) (u/seriousd6)
Willowville- A small USA southern town. In the 1930s a small meteorite crashed and it’s strange ore contaminated the land and water. Generations later children are being born with powers, but the town leaders are doing al they can to keep it secret. (u/ravi95035)
Peninsula City - west coast USA city founded by three supers in the late 1800s that now serves as a sanctuary city for supers. (u/ravi95035)
Nairos - Northern African city protected by the Warriors of Clay (sentient clay golems), a safe haven for supers in that global area. (u/ravi95035)
Salem's Burrow, Kansas- An unassuming farm town in the middle of no where. Most of the roads are dirt with a spartan few asphalt roads. Corn fields as far as the eye can see with an occasional old house or a different crop breaking the rows for a moment before more corn fields. In reality, it hides a troll market with tunnels from every basement and farm house (basically a market that sells everything from legitimate merchandise to slaves to counterfeit goods to black magic rituals schematics). All the farmers are the same entity that can manifest in various forms perfectly who been serving fey folks, supers, humans, and freaks as a cover for the eyes of various "unaligned" and hostile groups though only the most ancient beings know this secret. (u/Th3R3493r)
The Okínihaŋ Reservation: It is a series of reservation Native American Reservation in South and North Dakota. Before the Government and pioneers came, the tribes stretched over the Great Plains. Now on the surface, it is the remnants of various tribes who run an empire of casinos and try to keep their traditions alive. Due to their legal system being different and the state of world, they operate a covert mercenary corps comprised of various "monsters" as most would call them from Lechuza (owl-women who specialized in nighttime recon and target extractions), Skin walkers (various roles from combat to subterfuge), Teihiihan and Nimerigar (supposedly dead formerly cannibalistic races of dwarf-like operators who are now engineering and forensic experts), Kushtaka (otter-men who aid forces in stealth maritime offensives), and various others including a few "Gods from the Time the Earth was new". They cover it up with actors and legitimate conspiracy theorist on the fringes constantly given every direction but the right ones. (u/Th3R3493r)
!!! (pronounced by throwing your hands up and stomping loudly) or Paralite- It is an alien city nowadays. Not like tourist-trap towns, the aliens are there. !!! was secretly founded in 1956 by ⏃⌰⟊⍜⊑⋏ ⋔⏃⋏⌇⍜⋏ (in English, Al'John Manson) a "supposedly" exiled prince of scavenger civilization who brought a ⟟⌇☌⏃⌰⏃⋏⏁⟟⏃⋏ (Isgalantian) warship to the back yard of a doomsday prepper by the name of Jonathon Manson who became his advisor after this superpower of universal translation was found out accident as he cussed the alien warship out in fluent ☊⍜⋔⋔⍜⋏ (Common). After the CIA was tasked to "peacefully" resolve the problem and ⏃⌰⟊⍜⊑⋏ ⋔⏃⋏⌇⍜⋏ made a agreement to help forward technology to bested the Reds (who obtained scraped and damaged tech from the Tunguska event of 1908 and "The Night of Green Lights"), the town became a headquarter for the Black Suits (MiB like organzation) and a safe haven. With the first Cold War ending when the re-release of Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin by an unknown cosmic entity, the town was silently reclassified and became another Silicon Valley under the name Paralite and a embassy for friendly extraterrestrial alien lifeforms. (u/Th3R3493r)
The Arks - it is a secret system of floating city much like the Burg, but, more selective of their population. Supers, Aliens, Freaks, Cryptids and Normals are equally accepted and screened with any possible damning flaws or factors will be grounds of denial or termination if they are compromised after entry. The Arks are attempts as an ultramodern semi-utopia and a backup plan if the sea rising causes the civilization to have go to sea permanently. While organized crime syndicates still attempt to get a foot hold on them, all attempts have been unsuccessful and unprofitable for now. But, as long the Arks are on the horizon and shanty town of boats trail behind them waiting for the day they can take an Ark for their side and to use as a forwarding base for operations. (u/Th3R3493r)
Big Mountain, Nevada (Big Empty or Big MT) - formerly a government ran town that held the "best and brightest that the world had to offer". Long story short, "best and brightest" did not account for morals. So, with blank checks without a concern for ethics, morality, and human rights, It became a refugee full of mad scientist, mutants, mutates, and cyborgs. The current overseer has the town look and play like a sitcom 1950's suburbia minus most of the prejudices with the motto "Est Normalis Nova Impar (The Odd New Normal)". The Government officials supposed to run it were blacklisted for "being communist sympathizers" for various unsupported reasons in McCarthy's Witch Hunts. The town is still running on the funds from selling man-made precious metals and stone while in the guise of an unprofitable dying mining town on IRS records. (u/Th3R3493r)
Carne Quemada, Texas - A small unassuming city founded near several important intersections after the rise of the railroad in America. If there was a head of livestock bound for the East Coast from West Coast, It went through Carney before heading further. On the surface, It is just another drive-by town with the headquarter of a small family ran butcher shop/BBQ joint, but, it is ran by puppet officials controlled a old money family, Navaneeth, that specializes in the Arcane Arts and Dark Arts. The family patriarch is reportedly over 2800 years old but still looks to be in his late 50 and in the body of an Olympian. This family has their hands in the rise and fall of nearly every major meat based company since the apex of Rome. 'Word to the Wise' is do NOT try to spread vegan or animal rights propaganda in the town unless you want to "go missing" and end up as the unquestioning "circuitry" of the eco-friendly automation in a far off slaughterhouse. (u/Th3R3493r)
Capitol City, Ambiguous America - A large, metropolitan city with an Important American Landmark (capitol, museum, etc.). The city magically shifts forms and locations from time to time, leaving the inhabitants with no memory of it. No matter the form or location of the city it always represents an important part of American society. Capitol City exists within its own bubble, where people forget that leaving is an option. Whenever an alien, supervillain, kaiju, or magic-user attacks, chances are, it'll be here. The city has its own stock of good magic-users, superheroes, and military units, but these seem to shift in and out of being depending on the "genre" of the current disaster. In reality, Capitol City was created by a guild of powerful sorcerers who decided there should be somewhere on Earth to absorb disasters. It acts as a magnet for bad things and changes depending on what is needed to protect the rest of the world. (u/relinquisher42)
Here is my case for why Craftworld Eldar are the faction which most clearly embody communism. The concept of communism and socialism generally has two interpretations. One, the USSR state socialist model where socialism is just like society is now, but with red flags and more or less total public ownership. Concepts such as work, the distinction between free time and work, commodities, etc. are retained. The other is communism as a society where we have abolished and transcended these categories and others (such as nation and gender), a post-scarcity society where there is no state, no politicians, etc. Of course, many state socialists say that this "later stage of communism" (a term from Marx which was picked up by state socialists) is the ultimate goal and that state socialism is a step on the road. However that may be, this interpretation seriously harms any idea of Tau as any form of communists with their trading, utilitarian philosophy (built on a reified understanding of morality) and state power. The parts in bold in the quotes are made by me for ease of reading. Post-ScarcityEconomy "His thoughts awhirl, Aradryan wandered the woods and riverbanks of the Dome of Subtle Rewards, which was kept in a permanent dawn-like state, the pre-day glow casting fire and gold upon the leaves and water. Even this beauty was a mockery of the genuine grandeur of nature, he thought. He had watched stars rise above worlds so pristine, no life had yet sprung up from their azure oceans. He had seen supernova consuming planets and listened to the strobing call of pulsars that had died before even the eldar had known sentience. It was impossible to reconcile such experienceswith a simple miniature sun held in stasis like a cheap conjuror’s trick. Eventually, Aradryan’s whimsical feet brought him to a platform at the foot of the Bridge of Yearning Sorrows. The massive field-clad arch rose high above Alaitoc, and as he stood looking up at the silver towers at its pinnacle, Aradryan’s thoughts were flooded with memories. This was one of the most popular haunts of Dreamers, who could go to the trans-parent hab-spaces at the apex and fool themselves into thinking that they slept floating amongst the stars. Aradryan had spent many cycles there, and there was something about that illusion of freedom, no matter how false it was in reality, that lured him there again. He summoned an open-topped carriage, which glided along the monorailfrom its hangar with barely a whisper to announce its presence. Stepping inside, Aradryan smirked to himself as he looked at the simple controls: three touch-sensitive gems of which one was the self-guidance activator. On the Lacontiran Aradryan had mastered a board of nearly seven hundred different controls. He laid a fingertip on the automatic drive and sat back, trying to relax. The carriage accelerated quickly, encasing Aradryan in a dampening field so that the strengthening wind of its passage was dulled, allowing the steersman to feel the air through his hair and on his face as a pleasant breeze while beyond the bubble it sped past as a gale. From several other stations, more rails ascended towards the peak of the arc, coming together like the outer threads of a web to form an intricate, overlapping conjunction inside the lowest level of the apex tower." - Path of the Outcast. There are several things going on here. Let's first go to old Marx to make a few things clear: "Capital employs machinery, rather, only to the extent that it enables the worker to work a larger part of his time for capital, to relate to a larger part of his time as time which does not belong to him, to work longer for another. Through this process, the amount of labour necessary for the production of a given object is indeed reduced to a minimum, but only in order to realize a maximum of labour in the maximum number of such objects. The first aspect is important, because capital here quite unintentionally reduces human labour, expenditure of energy, to a minimum. This will redound to the benefit of emancipated labour, and is the condition of its emancipation." - Karl Marx, Fragment on Machines ( http://thenewobjectivity.com/pdf/marx.pdf ) In this excerpt, Marx connects the development of machinery in capitalism to the possibilities for communism. Note how in Path of the Outcast the description of Alaitoc clearly states how the protagonist, Aradrayan, views the technology of the Craftworld as almost banal. They keep a sun in stasis to hold an entire dome, described elsewhere as at least as large as a nation, in perpetual dawn. In the other Eldar-related series of books similar feats are commonplace. Aeldari are thus a post-scarcity society where anyone can have anything. Aradrayan easily summons his own collective mode of transportation, one which is totally integrated with him. This takes the capitalist privatization of transportation and transcends them, an uber for everyone, but an uber which is also in solidarity with the rest of the collective (there are no traffic jams!). Aradrayan is also not rushed, because to walk on the Path is not a job you have to get to at 9-5 but a way of being, acting and living (more on this below). This creates entirely new ways of relating to the world, far away from the stress of modern capitalism. Also note what Aeldari energy comes from: sunlight. A clean, renewable source of energy. Several times in the Path of the Eldar, Path of the Dark Eldar and Phoenix Lord books Aeldari bring up human ugliness and use of polluting materials and energies: "A laughing mon-keigh giant, his brutal, scarred face splashed with blood, his bare, thickly-muscled arms covered in the crude, tribal tattoo-markings typical of hisbarbaricrace. He had weapons in his hands, crude and noisymon-keigh weapons, and he laughed as they spat forth metal death into the bodies of his unseen enemies. Was this terrifying vision that of friend or foe, Kariadryl wondered, knowing that only the events which awaited him within the darkness of the shadow point would reveal the truth." - Shadow Point This is of course connected to how Aeldari have transcended the nature/culture divide, even though GW tends to write them as belonging to the "nature" part of this ancient dualism which organizes much of Western thinking. Communism is part of reshaping our entire way of being and acting, with nature not as a passive outside object but as reconceptualizing our relation to the world. Feminist thinkers such as Silvia Fedirici or the New Materialists are often the ones who are the clearest on this point. The Path System - Free Association “It is true that the Path of the Warrior has ended for me,” she replied, thoughtful, her eyes never straying from Aradryan. “The aspect of the Dire Avenger has sated my anger, enough for a hundred lifetimes. I write poetry, influenced by the Uriathillin school of verse. I find it has complexities that stimulate both the intellectual and the emotional in equal measure. “I would like to know Thirianna the Poet, and perhaps your verse will introduce me,” said Aradryan. “I would very much like to see a performance, as you see fit.” “As would I,” said Korlandril. “Thirianna refuses to share her work with me, though many times I have suggested that we collaborate on a piece that combines her words with my sculpture.” “My verse is for myself, and no other,” Thirianna said quietly. “It is not for performance, nor for eyes that are not mine.” She cast a glance of annoyance towards Korlandril. “While some create their art to express themselves to the world, my poems are inner secrets, for me to understand their meaning, to divine my own fears and wishes.”” - Path of the Warrior And: “Is not that the purpose of the Path?”said Ydraethir.“That we change and grow, and shed that which was before and transform into something new and better?” “Indeed it is,” said Korlandril. “To strive for the perfection of body and spirit, craft and mind, that is what we all desire.” - Path of the Warrior "In place of the old bourgeois society, with its classes and class antagonisms, we shall have an association, in which the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all." - Karl Marx, the Communist Manifesto https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1848/communist-manifesto/ch02.htm In these quotes we find a clear resonance of Aeldari communism. The Path system does not quite allow you to: "In communist society, where nobody has one exclusive sphere of activity but each can become accomplished in any branch he wishes, society regulates the general production and thus makes it possible for me to do one thing today and another tomorrow, to hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticise after dinner, just as I have a mind, without ever becoming hunter, fisherman, herdsman or critic." (Marx, the German Ideology) However, it does allow you to walk the Path of the Fisherman for however long you like, and you can certainly go and practice your old skills from Path of the Critic, which you walked a decade past, in the evening! Aeldari are truly the renaissance people that Marx envisioned. This creates the sort of full individualism that liberals cannot comprehend. Thirianna, for example, refuses to even show the poetry she is making because she is making it for herself! While her friends disagree, this is far from the modern capitalist way of thinking that you have to produce something to be sold if you're going to be useful. The Path of the Dreamer is a good example of this, Aeldari who (as shown in the first quote) lose themselves in dreams of ancient days, of things that never were. This is the worst thing in the world in modern capitalism, but Aeldari see that it both enriches the individual and society itself. Of course, the Path of the Warrior is the Path that Warhammer is the most concerned about. Once more, the Aeldari relation to it is interesting: "“What is there to be so angry about?” laughed Korlandril. “Perhaps if we were Biel-Tan, with all their talk of reclaiming the old empire, then we might have a use for all of this swordwaving and gunfire. It is an uncivilised way to behave.”" - Path of the Warrior War is barbarism. Again and again, Aeldari make this point. It is sometimes necessary, and to shield themselves from the horrors of war, so as not to become these stunted, hollow personalities that the Imperium creates, they wear the war mask. Perhaps some Aeldari (Biel-Tan!) can be considered Space Elf Trotskyites who want to spread the revolution with the sword, but most of them only act to preserve themselves. Counterarguments While some of you will now certainly bring up Farseers and Autarchs, please read this: "The council of Alaitoc sat on the stepped seats of the amphitheatre-like Hall of Communing. It was a column-lined dome set close to the rim of Alaitoc, and Aradryan felt very small as he stood at its centre, surrounded by nothing but a transparent force dome and the stars of the galaxy. The council consisted of the seers and autarchs of Alaitoc, joined by a few other select individuals of exceptional wisdom or age. [...] ‘This Imperial commander, De’vaque, tell us more about him,’ said Kelamith. ‘We see your thread and his tightly bound together. On the skein we have seen that the bloodshed stems from your line, but there are too many fates to count at the moment. We need your help,Aradryan, to avert disaster for our craftworld.’ Taken aback by the farseer’s humble tone, Aradryan nodded." "‘If I understand correctly, the opinions of seers are not so well regarded on Saim-Hann as other craftworlds,’ said Yvraine, drawing the seers’ attention back to her." - Rise of the Ynnari, Wild Rider So in both these quotes we find that the Autarchs and Farseers certainly have a role to play due to their Path - just like the Path of the Healer as an expert role in healing. Of course, Farseers are stuck on their Path much like Exarchs, and there is a power struggle in different situations and Craftworlds. Yvraine clearly brings this up, but this also shows that they are not dictators, and that communism is not the end of history and society but merely the beginning of it. There are plots and intrigues, but these do note have the same violent shape as Orks, Chaos or Imperial conflicts. Conclusion Craftworld Eldar have thus created a fully automated luxury communism, where the free development of one person is the basis for the free development of all. They have erased the division between nature and culture, and forged a gender-equal society dedicated to individual and collective advancement, beauty, art, exploration and philosophy. Is this not true Communism?
What we can (sort of) realistically expect for future seasons in terms of content
Alright spicy bois, get ready for a very (very) long post right here. (Edit: separated the new reinforcement units in two new categories, since some didn't fit the overall theme) Taking into account the current delay that we are let to expect between 2 seasons (around 2 months), DICE's current policy towards variety of content (balancing release of all three eras content) and towards series content, as well as putting game balance before contextual relevance (i.e. not pairing a blaster hero with a lightsaber hero), and with a (un) healthy dose of optimism, here's what I think we can expect for future seasons : SEASON 2 : GENERALS OF THE OLD WARS (Prequel Era, starting mid-February to March) -Ground Heroes:
Obi-Wan Kenobi - abilities: Mind Trick, Force Push, Soresu Stance (health bonus, permanent cooldown on saber block, and if he blocks, the enemy takes auto damage)
General Grievous - abilities: Stun Slam (ground slam with foot, similar to Luke's Repulsion), Lightsaber Spin (ep3 scene, forward charge similar to Rey's), Buzzsaw (defensive buff, whirls lightsabers around him and damages anyone getting too close)
-Space Heroes:
Obi-Wan's Delta-7
Grievous's Belbullab-22
-Maps:
Galactic Assault Utapau : PHASE 1 Clones are dropped in the lower levels of Utapau (near where Obi-Wan landed in ROTS), and need to secure landing pads for LAAT/C to drop a couple of AT-TEs. The droids need to stop the clones from securing these to keep their ship safe. PHASE 2 Now the Clones can advance up the canyons of Pau City. They must keep their AT-TEs safe until they reach the exterior of the Lucrehulk sphere so that they can make a breach. PHASE 3 The AT-TEs have breached the hull of the Separatist command center, now the Clone army must secure 3 valuable data control stations on the platforms where the Separatist had their last meeting with Grievous. The informations within these stations are capital to locating the Separatist council, so the Droids must withold that information from the Republic at any cost.
Strike Utapau : Droids are trying to make a deadly diversion to slow down the Republic's advance in the Lucrehulk sphere. The clones have to keep the Separatists from detonating bombs inside the two cells of their Utapaun hostages.

Galactic Assault Coruscant : PHASE 1 The Separatist army has been deployed in the high streets of Coruscant, and must deactivate the automated AA defenses of the Senate district at 3 emplacements to land their reinforcements. PHASE 2 Now the droids can advance towards the Senate Plaza unhindered. They need to push forward through the exposed Plaza with their aerial support, and capture the main entrance of the Senate building to cut off the clone reinforcements PHASE 3 For the "kidnapping" operation to succeed, the Separatists must secure the Chancellor's working office below the Rotunda, to prevent the Republic from sending a distress signal to their dispersed fleets.
Starfighter Assault Coruscant PHASE 1 The Open Circle Fleet is deployed to break the Separatist blockade above Coruscant. The Invisible Hand is at firing range, but for the rescue mission to succeed, the hangar bay shields must be deactivated. PHASE 2 The special units have made it into the Separatist hangars, but now the droids must keep the clones from disabling 4 CIS frigates, to make way for their Venators towards Grievous's flagship. PHASE 3 Dozens of escape pods have been launched from the Separatist dreadnought. However some have been rigged with explosives and are headed toward the Republic Venators. The clones must destroy them before their cruisers suffer critical damage. PHASE 4 The ship has been compromised from the inside, and its main engines are now exposed. The Republic aims to send it plummeting to the surface. The CIS can't let this happen !
Strike Coruscant : The main attack of the CIS was a diversion for a strike force to enter the Jedi Temple, steal Holocrons from the great Vault, and bring it back to their transport. The 501st has been deployed to maintain guard around the valuable items.

Galactic Assault Scarif : PHASE 1 A small tactical Rebel group has landed inside the Citadel complex, and tries to bomb two Imperial landing pads to keep reinforcements from coming. PHASE 2 Now that the Empire's trapped here with them, the Rebels take the communications relays to scramble their forces, and then capture the two monorail stations near the Citadel PHASE 3 The Rebellion now has a direct access to the Citadel's main power core, underneath the waterfall. If they disable it, the Imperials will be incapable of mustering their automated defenses in the Citadel.
Starfighter Assault Scarif : PHASE 1 Gold Squadron has lost its best pilots trying to force the Shield Gate. The Rebellion must rearrange their efforts, and target the automated defense generator on the sides of the Shield Gate. PHASE 2 The Empire has brought some reinforcements to keep the main fleet away from the surface, three Arquitens cruisers. The Empire must defend them from the Rebels' assaults. PHASE 3 The Rebels don't have the firepower to breach the shield gate, but they can damage the main shields and engines of one of the Star Destroyers. If it becomes vulnerable, it will plummet toward the Shield Gate and destroy it, allowing passage for the Rebel forces.
Strike Scarif : Trying to send transmissions from the ground to their fleet in orbit, the Rebels are trying to pirate two master switches near the monorail terminals. The Imperials must interrupt the pirating to keep their precious informations out of Rebel hands

To this effect, while a small battalion of the 501st keeps the attention of the main artillery, the clones have deployed two AT-TEs that will lead the way along the hills and inside a gorge to an Umbaran airbase. PHASE 2 The airbase is the main route of supply for the Umbaran capital, so the CIS will defend it to the last droid. They must keep the clones from planting charges on the inner barriers that would allow them to penetrate the perimeter. If they fail, the clones will be able to take hold of the two main docking hangars PHASE 3 The 501st has been fed wrong information and now the droids surround them ! They must keep the CSI at bay from the inner base as long as possible until reinforcements come !
Strike Umbara : Droids have installed two experimental weapons holdouts in the Umbaran airbase main hangars. Clone battalions have been sent out to destroy these weapons caches before they can be used against the Republic.

Galactic Assault Geonosis: PHASE 1 The droid foundries of Geonosis are still active and the Republic have come back to destroy them. Clones have launched their attack from Point Rain, and are now ready to throw their forces at the ray shielded droid outpost. They must keep the artillery pieces deactivated long enough for AT-TEs to arrive and destroy them. PHASE 2 Now that the fortress is dealt with, the Republic has to escort their AT-TEs through the Geonosian badlands up to the Separatists foundry. The CSI will be waiting and prepared, and the way to the great bridge is guarded. PHASE 3 The AT-TEs have done their work, and the main entrance of the factory is open. The clones now must traverse the Geonosian labyrinths and detonate both the Catacumbs and the Foundry power core.
Strike Geonosis: Poggle the Lesser is planning to make off-planet with the blueprints of a geonosian ultimate weapon, but their computers in the factory have fallen into Republic control. The droids cannot let it fall in the hands of the Republic and must take it back to their extraction shuttle.
Blast Geonosis (the catacumbs)

SEASON 9 : EPISODE IX: ??? (Sequel Era, Starting December 2019) Of course I know it is A F-ING LOT, but that is the hope that I have, while keeping it mostly reasonable (all thing considered). In my opinion, they will probably stop the live service after Season 9, which will be coincidental with episode IX, and then we'll start hearing about Battlefront 3. But still, if it comes even close to all this, we have two really good years ahead of us ...
*The Hospital is a hive of activity. Medical Droids and orderlies stream down corridors carrying hover gurnys spilling over with the dead and dying. Blood of all shades cover every surface overwhelming the normally fastidious cleaning robots. In an alcove off of the main a Lemuran Surgeon draws heavily from a water flask. He thought it would serve as a temporary oasis of respite away from the chaos that had gripped the Infirmary. He was wrong. A pair of immaculately dressed men approach. The surgeon lets out a sigh as both flash their PLA51-slates
CAD-Sec
A brief discourse follows. The surgeon wearily nods and beckons the Officers follow. The trio push into a side room where a Hospital security guard sits beside a seriously injured Antigonian suspended within a LIFE CAST. "Mercato Danforth?" The Security guard looks to the surgeon for re-assurance but he does not react instead he stares away through the one way glass at the events unfolding in the next wards. "Y...yes Sir..but he" "Leave us..." one of the CAD-Sec officers murmers at the Guard who instinctive low grade training kicks in to action. He snaps to attention and scuttles out - the Surgeon follows, looking back briefly and with a tinge of guilt. The doors close. "You are Sibbi Mercato Danforth, Acting Captain of the SPIRIT OF ISHRA. 2 hours ago a concealed thermal device detonated aboard all but destroying the ship and the Terminus above Kernel" The weak and wounded individual nestled within the LIFE CASE shuffles up on his elbows. A servo assisted cradle assists, limiting his range of movement and supporting his injured limbs. Pain grips him and he touches his hands to his temples, breathing deeply. Almost immediately the gaggle of medical droids administer a cocktail of analgaesics. Danforth furrows his brow, taking his time to consider what the taller of the 2 CAD-Sec officers had just told him. "Acting Captain? I...Gentlemen I do not know who you..." "CAD-Sec, Te-Agun and Ulan Donnet, Kernel Bureau of Affairs" "...y..yes quite... look first of all I am more than happy to assist you with your enquiries but I am no Captain, check your manifest Gentlemen, I was employed as a physician..." The impatient CAD-Sec officers interject once more "Dr Danforth the blast to which we refer, the same blast which rendered you of your wounds cruelly took the lives of over 4/5ths of the expeditions crew who were aboard the SPIRIT OF ISHRA. Furthermore over 2000 unfortunate souls who were present within the Terminal in anticipation of the ships arrival also perished not to mention 4000+ wounded. Friends, family, Cadre Siblings, dead or maimed by a wanton act of terror. As a result of the attack Dr Danforth YOU remain the ranking officer among the survivors." Danforth slinks back into the LIFE CASE and for a moment he remains there, silent, his eyes closed tightly. His frown grows into a grimace and eventually he responds though his eyes remain clamped closed "Nnrggh....What do you want from me" "We have questions Dr Danforth. Pressing questions. Word will have reached Antigony of the SPIRITS demise and the Empress will demand answers. The people will demand retribution. Anything pertinent to the events leading up to and including the atrocity. Unfortunately Kernel law prevents us from authorising a MIND WIPE, despite the extenuating circumstances. As a citizen of the Empire we ask that you provide us with everything you know." One of the CAD-Sec officers produces an intricate AUDIOSCOPE and proceeds to hook the device up into his cerebral cortex via the jack port in the back of his neck. A depressing of the on switch and the device begins recording. "I...I remember the explosion...nay...I remember the panic that came before...as for the event itself....I hope it doesn't return by KIB my friends...kinsmen....so many innocent lives" "Pull it together Doctor, we've no time for sentiment" "Yes yes of course...forgive me... As you no doubt know already the SPIRIT traversed the QUABOEL Nebula from Ageem 2 to Zufola in the Far Rim. Our journey was uneventful in so much as my expertise as a medical Doctor was barely called upon. A few cases of RUEL sickness from the copious use of VAPOUR was about the worst that befell us....." "These men. Do you remember taking them aboard? The manifest shows three individuals alighting at the Astrakhan Space Port before the SPIRITS final leg of the journey to Kernel." The image of 2 Antigonians and a Bokkhan coalesce upon the data slate thrust before the incapacitated Doctor. "I have no idea, these men...they don't look familiar..you believe them to be responsible?" "We do not know, not yet. A notorious Terrorist Group by the name of the Furious 8901st World Freedom Fighters was recently expelled from their base of operations in the Western Canton of VAL ADID. We recently received an anonymous tip that operatives loyal to the organisation may have embedded themselves within Antigonian military and merchant services, specifically the SPIRIT during her final tour before her decommissioning at the Kernel ship yards" The shorter of the two stares at his taller superior and immediately corrects him. "We are...almost certain that the Freedom Fighters are responsible" A modicum of tension builds though this is immediately diffused as Danforth winces in pain. Danforth looks physically exhausted from his mental exertions and physical ordeal. Several warning lights appear on the LIFE CASE and a tall, spindly Servitor droid politely requests that the CAD-Sec officers vacate. Begrudgingly they agree and start toward the door "Dr Danforth we will return again tomorrow. Be safe" The CAD-Sec officers exit the Hospital and take a flitter to a nearby transit terminal. Instead of alighting and joining the automated walkway back to the Conurbations the pair decide to walk though the covered parks and atriums that dot the habitable zone. The giant light globes that illuminate the expanse of habitable areas begin to dim slightly, a sign that end of watch nears. By a fountain the taller of the 2, the Lemuran-Antigonian Lieutenant Te-Agun, lights up a VAPOUR stick, leans heavily on the wall and drums his fingers along the marble while gazing into the water "The Freedom Fighters? Really Donnet?" "It's all we have to go on Lieutenant." "I don't buy it. Well don't tell me you do? What happened to your objectivity?" "I don't know what you mean Te. Just drop it, it's not our place to ask" "The VID-TEL footage, the slate data which has clearly been doctored. Spoon fed..... a trail of fuckin' breadcrumbs...its a bloody fit up. Look Donnet it's no secret the Hierarchs and those close to the Office of the Empress are looking for a smoking gun, a pretext" Suddenly one of the immense light globes overhead begins to fade to black. Te-Agun looks perplexed. Turning to his assistant he spies 3 men clad in long leather coats emerging from the shadows, their faces concealed. In the distance the monorail snakes over the parklands, a thin wisp of light in the blackness. Te-Agun stands; speechless as the group fan out. "Sejjukar?....What the...You. YOU. You fucking streak of Crelym piss..." "You couldn't keep quiet could you Lieutenant Te. Such a simple fucking assignment served up to us on a plate and you had to stir the water didn't you..." The Lieutenant drops his VAPOUR stick, his hand moving instinctively to his holster "You never did mention that you were assigned to the GREEN CADRE did you Sir? Come on...you're a detective, work it out. I tried to warn you off, I tried didn't I? For both our sakes don't make another mo..." A raking salvo from the Sejjukar death rays punch a hole into Sergeant Donnet sending him slumping forward "Donnet!!!" In a snap the experienced Lieutenant whips a pair of pistols from a brace of concealed waist holsters and within a split second both are trained on the two nearest Sejjukar. A stand off ensues. "Cowards. I'm supposed to die here, that much is clear. But if I go, two of you fellas are goin' with me to the HereAfter."

Big containers can hold 120 crate, loaders/unloaders can hold 40, each car can hold 20. So 3 contaniers, 9 loader/unloaders at each end, and 18 cars for a line. This will fill up train silos instantly, opposed to several minutes with minecarts. But Monorail don't go inside factories so you have to transfer resources to containers outside the factory first. https Automation Empire; News; Monorail & Modding Update; Monorail & Modding Update .
